x HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE x
Have you heard it yet? You must have haha, the phrase everyone cannot stand to hear, usually because its full of false expectations - 'New year, New me'...well we will see haha.
How did you guys celebrate bringing in the new year? Night out? Family get together? Night with your loved one? - Whatever it was I hope it was AMAZING and was filled with fun and laughter! Mine certainly was!
As much as people say its such an overrated night where all the prices are boosted up and restaurants, bars and clubs are packed - I still love it! Everyone gets together, the drinks are flowing, you see so many friends who have also braved the cold and come out and everyone is just having a laugh and celebrating something together. I was surrounded by an absolute great group of people, having a very funny night in Harrogate.
Firstly the girls and I obviously took our time doing our makeup, styling our hair - and of course there was definitely over 5 outfit changes hehe, all to find that 'perfect look' that says all the right things ...'Hello there, and yes I am looking pretty gorgeous' hehe. So finally, once we were all ready and the 'last five minutes' call was made, creating a crazy manic rush, we set off to a friends for an amazing new year party before making our way into town.
Ok, so some parties are quite good - fun people and decent music, this one however was extremely good. Hosted by an amazing host, champagne on hand (pink or white of course), hilarious people, food- which my friend Laura made the most of hehe, and to complete it all, the house's interior was designed so stylishly it was the perfect setting - freakishly tidy isn't even a fair description! This was OCD style ;)
Next - drinks and plenty of them! A cheeky game of beer pong was played which eventually switched to Champagne pong: oh the sophistication haha! Then before the countdown and after a million selfies we all piled into a number of taxi's and headed into town, where we had a booth booked at Vipers with yet more champagne and vodka - oh dear. These are just a select few pictures from the night... (Be prepared for masses of selfies hehe)
ANDD...bedtime...
So that was my night, how did you celebrate yours? I MUST say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who made the night so enjoyable and hilarious! Friends really are incredible. I hope you had a fabulous time and didn't get too drunk heheh. Enjoy 2015 and make it count!!!!!!
